This research delves into how policy frameworks and governance mechanisms can foster the integration of Crop Wild Relatives (CWRs) into sustainable farming systems, ensuring the preservation of genetic diversity while strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of European agriculture. Moreover it demonstrates how scientific evidence can translate into actionable policy pathways for integrating CWRs into sustainable farming systems — a key objective of the COUSIN project.
